Happy New Year, Shana Tova, to the whole Judaism for Schools family; teachers and students alike! Jewish people are currently in the middle of a month of festivals. These kicked off on September 10th with Rosh Hashanna, the Jewish New Year, followed by the fast day Yom Kippur and the current festival of Sukkot. We have now embarked on the year 5779, in the Jewish calendar. Pupils at Duncombe Primary, St Georges Weybridge  Bell Lane Hendon and St Catherine ’s have already enjoyed workshops and assemblies this term, with many more schools booked in between now and Christmas. Let’s hope 5779 / 2018/19 is the best yeayet! !
